Named after the sizeable lion prides that frequent this area, Shumba is the most upmarket base from which to discover the Busanga Plains. With the entire camp arranged on elevated platforms to permit outstanding panoramic views over this wildlife hotbed, game viewing is possible from the rooms, the dining platform and the extensive lounge and bar area. There are just six luxury tented rooms, stylishly furnished with four poster beds, brass basins and comfortable sofas, where canvas walls can be rolled back for uninterrupted views out to the grazing wildlife.
