A classic South Luangwa bushcamp, combining remote wilderness, outstanding guiding and superb wildlife, Tafika is one of Zambia’s most renowned safari outposts. Owners John and Carol Coppinger still live on site and are intimately involved with all aspects of guiding, hosting and operations, so you couldn’t be in more experienced hands. Situated just outside the northern Nsefu sector, there is abundant wildlife around camp and a range of excellent game viewing sites. These can be enjoyed through a range of methods, whether on walks, game drives, mountain bikes or one of Tafika’s famous microlight flights, meaning there is a true diversity of experiences to enjoy during your stay.

The six reed and thatch chalets are rustic but spacious and comfortable, with inviting beds, colourful African textiles, and raffia rugs on hard mud floors. The en-suite bathrooms are open air and perfect for moonlit showers, while the views of the sweeping Luangwa River as you enjoy a bush breakfast are stunning.
